Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to lead AI workstreams, deliver modern AI engineering, and drive scalable data science initiatives for diverse clients. You will guide teams across data sources, analytics, and software engineering to produce responsible, high‑impact AI systems.

You will collaborate with scientists and engineers, leveraging cloud and on‑prem environments, while shaping solutions that meet business needs and ethics standards. Travel to client engagements is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of relevant AI, data science, and machine learning experience.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong skills in Python and production AI/ML workflows.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on major cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with ML tools and libraries (scikit‑learn, PyTorch).
• Excellent communication and ability to lead diverse, hybrid, global teams.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design through production deployment and optimization.
• Identify innovative solutions through research and analysis to improve processes.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams with accountability for quality and responsible deployment.
• Engage with clients during sessions, guiding workstreams from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
