CFD Research Corporation seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for national security mission systems. You will oversee data processing, model development, MLOps, and integration of scalable AI capabilities into production environments, with a focus on explainable, verifiable models.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and extensive experience across NLP/LLM, CV, and distributed systems, working onsite in Dayton, OH.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• 5+ years of experience building ML models (NLP/LLM, CV, or related).
• Experience deploying production-grade APIs/microservices in distributed systems.
• Experience with MLOps platforms and distributed training in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and containerization (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with data processing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models including NLP/LLM pipelines and CV models.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop end-to-end production systems including microservices and cloud-native or edge AI services.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into operational environments with emphasis on security and reliability.
• Conduct model optimization, versioning, AB testing, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to gather requirements and define technical approaches.
• Prepare technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and support accreditation in classified environments.
