Job summary

Design Interactive in Dayton, OH seeks an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer (Pending Contract Award) to support NASIC mission areas, including engineering, analysis, information technology and cyber security, with anticipated work beginning in September 2026. Work will be performed on-site at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH, pending award.

Responsibilities include developing secure, low-risk technical solutions and guiding digital transformation to cloud environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in complete software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of AI/ML experience with Python and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs, and RAG-enabled solutions.
• Ability to apply AI/ML research to practical solutions.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage programs guiding digital transformation to cloud computing environments.
• Implement intelligent automation, AI and ML capabilities.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems for hybrid classified cloud environments.
• Oversee adoption and operation of IA/AI/ML solutions aligned with mission priorities and security requirements.
