Job summary

Performance Drone Works (PDW) is building advanced tactical robotic systems for defense and public safety. We seek a senior AI/ML leader to shape strategy, own the AI roadmap, and deliver end-to-end capabilities across PDW’s enterprise data and applications.

You will design and implement AI orchestration, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and Security.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python and production-quality software development experience.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and large language models in production.
• Experience designing RAG architectures and enterprise AI solutions.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into architectures and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for enterprise AI/ML and set strategy/roadmap.
• Design AI orchestration, authentication, policy enforcement, observability, and cost management.
• Build production RAG solutions with ingestion, embeddings, and vector search.
• Develop AI agents and workflows interacting with enterprise data and apps.
• Prototype high-value AI opportunities with cross-functional teams and productionize concepts.
• Develop evaluation frameworks comparing models on quality, latency, security, and cost.
• Operate production AI/ML apps, pipelines, and infrastructure with CI/CD and MLOps.
• Optimize AI workloads across SaaS, API, cloud, and GPU infra.
