Job summary

Intellivo seeks a Sr. AI/Machine Learning Engineer to productionize AI solutions that read documents and emails, resolve entities, enrich data, and surface signals for better recovery outcomes.

You will work with transformer models, foundation models via open-source and commercial APIs, and build reliable services around them. Prior experience with healthcare data and Azure/OpenAI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ML, data science, or data engineering with production experience.
• Strong Python & SQL proficiency for building integration code.
• Hands-on with transformer architecture and foundation models.
• Experience with both open-source and commercial foundation models, including prompt design and tool use.
• Experience with multi-step model workflows and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure ML / cloud ML deployments; model monitoring and drift.
• Knowledge of healthcare/insurance data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, production-quality Python that integrates foundation models into automated pipelines and services.
• Work with open-source and commercial foundation models, including prompt design and tool use.
• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models using standard platforms.
• Build retrieval and multi-step model workflows with orchestration frameworks.
• Support ML ops: training/inference pipelines, versioning, deployment, monitoring.
• Integrate models into production applications and workflows via APIs and services.
• Ensure responsible AI, data handling, PHI protection, and traceability.
