Job summary

Ready Health seeks an AI Engineer to build AI-powered systems at the core of our product. You will design LLM-driven agents, extend extraction pipelines, and apply AI to new product features as we grow.

This hands-on role owns the systems from prototype to production, collaborating with a small engineering team to ship reliable, scalable solutions. You will work on AI-driven automation, document understanding, and system integration across diverse platforms, including external systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience, with 1–2 years building AI/ML systems in production.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, clean and maintainable code.
• Experience integrating LLMs for real tasks; structured output and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one modern production language; TypeScript preferred.
• Experience designing evaluations for AI-powered features; measurable output quality.
• Pragmatic problem-solving; prioritize shipping over architectural purity.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven automation and agents using LLMs to automate tasks.
• Extend AI pipelines to extract structured data from documents; use vision models and prompts.
• Bridge the platform with external systems (ERPs, ATSs, VMSs) across formats.
• Design evaluation and quality systems for AI features and training data generation.
• Develop AI features and evaluate models to deliver real value to customers.
• Ensure production-grade reliability with retry logic, monitoring, and audit trails.
