Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a product‑oriented AI/ML Engineer who partners with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will be hands‑on developing AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and intelligent automation workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering with expertise in modern AI technologies and cloud-native development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experienced developing production-grade applications.
• Experience building REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies.
• Experience working within Agile and SDLC frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, Harness, etc.).
• Experience containerizing applications using Docker.
• Experienced deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes platforms (GKE, AKS, EKS, OpenShift, etc.).
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions for products with AI capabilities.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and conversational experiences.
• Transform business problems into scalable AI solutions and build production-grade ML systems.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms ensuring security, reliability, and measurable outcomes.
• Work across the full lifecycle of AI products from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
