Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will partner with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, and stakeholders to build AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
The role blends strong software fundamentals with modern AI technologies and cloud-native development, transforming business problems into scalable, production-ready AI systems that are secure and measurable.
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of software/ML/AI engineering experience.
- BS degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
- Strong Python proficiency and production-grade app development.
- Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask.
- Experience with Agile and SDLC.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Harness.
- Docker containerization experience.
- Kubernetes deployment on cloud platforms.
- Cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, or AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
- Hands-on development of AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and related workflows.
- Transform business problems into scalable AI solutions for production.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and measurable.
- Work across the full lifecycle from experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and adoption.
