Cardinal Health is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will partner with product managers, software and data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and automation workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• 4–8 years of experience in Software/ML/AI engineering or related fields preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python and production-grade application development.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, Harness, etc.).
• Experience containerizing applications using Docker and deploying on Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, EKS, OpenShift).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI agents and intelligent automation workflows.
• Transform business problems into scalable AI solutions and production-grade ML systems.
• Ensure AI solutions are secure, reliable and measurable across the full lifecycle.
