Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, and stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will be hands-on in developing AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents, and ensure secure, scalable production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade applications.
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience working within Agile and SDLC frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience containerizing applications with Docker.
• Experience deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered applications (LLMs, RAG, AI Agents).
• Build production-grade ML systems and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and measurable across the lifecycle.
