Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC in Ashburn, Virginia, is seeking an AI-ML Developer to join a contract with a federal government client (DHS/CBP). The role is highly technical and requires hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities include big data approaches, developing and deploying models including LLMs, NLP, and AI applications; collaborate across teams while ensuring privacy and security; ongoing learning and growth within a supportive federal-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering projects, MLOps/DevSecOps and technical architecture.
• BS/BA in CS/IT or Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Experience with government contracts or DHS/CBP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive big data approaches to meet government requirements and enrich data for insights.
• Develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models, including generative AI techniques like LLMs.
• Design innovative AI solutions for complex business challenges including NLP.
• Optimize model performance for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop AI applications and interfaces, such as chatbots and virtual assistants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing systems.
• Stay up to date with AI advancements including RAGs and fine-tuning LLMs.
• Ensure data privacy and security compliance in outputs and processes.
• Brief stakeholders on benefits and constraints of tech solutions.
