Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking an AI Data Scientist to join a contract with a federal government client. This role focuses on data science, ML/AI, and creating actionable insights from complex datasets to improve citizen services.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional efforts, develop NLP/LLM models, and deliver visual reports and dashboards for diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Science.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Information Systems required.
• Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models, Gen-AI (LLM) and NLP models, and statistical methods to solve complex business challenges.
• Build scalable solutions for predictive modeling, optimization, and decision support.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to uncover trends, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven strategies.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and interpret data.
• Explore and apply cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and deliver measurable impact.
• Design and produce compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards.
• Transform complex findings into intuitive visual reports and dashboards to facilitate understanding for non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data visualization and integrate innovative techniques into the workflow.
• Work closely with the distributed teams and stakeholders to ensure the data infrastructure decisions factor the interests and data goals of the company and its partners.
• Advocate for data science and analytics principles/best-practices in design/requirements discussions with customers
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor visualizations accordingly.
