Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Data Scientist, Consultant to translate cutting-edge AI research into real-world applications. You will design and deploy ML models, LLM-powered features, and RAG-based solutions embedded into claims, payment integrity, clinical insights, and member experience.

The role emphasizes rapid feature development, collaboration with partner teams, and shipping production-grade AI products that scale across the enterprise.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in software development, applied AI/ML and analysis.
• Proven track record shipping software products quickly.
• Experience with ML methods and business problem application.
• Strong Python for APIs and backend services.
• Experience with ML design, inference, data processing, and frameworks.
• Hands-on with DL and LLM frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph.
• Hands-on with generative AI models, prompt engineering, and RAG.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and ship production-grade AI products integrated into customer apps and workflows.
• Develop and deploy ML models, statistical methods and AI features at scale.
• Collaborate across teams to translate research into real-world solutions.
