Job summary

Octave Intelligence plc is seeking a Principal Customer Innovation Leader for a remote role based in Madison, AL. You will own strategic customer relationships, frame high-value problems into structured use cases, and orchestrate cross-functional squads to deliver AI-enabled solutions across asset lifecycles.

You will sit with senior executives, shape value hypotheses, drive a three-gate cycle, and articulate ROI at each stage while contributing to pricing and scale discussions with Octave

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in delivery or engagement leadership roles.
• Experience with senior customer relationships and accountable delivery outcomes.
• Experience with heavy industry (industrial, energy, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure).
• Ability to frame ill-defined problems into scoped, valued initiatives.
• Credibility with senior executives and ability to lead rooms.
• Conversant in AI, agentic solutions, and enterprise data.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer relationship and act as trusted advisor with senior stakeholders.
• Frame ambiguous problems into scoped use cases with clear value hypotheses.
• Lead structured engagement cycles and manage multiple use cases in parallel.
• Direct cross-functional squads and align business intent with technical execution.
• Tell the value story and articulate ROI at each gate; support product roadmaps.
• Contribute to pricing, LOI/MOU, and scale conversations with leadership.
