Job summary

Octave is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead platform, AI/ML, and domain-specific solutions for industrial B2B use cases. You will partner with global teams to define end-to-end product roadmaps, drive velocity, and ensure safe, auditable deployments in regulated environments.

You will translate complex engineering work into customer value, shape the product strategy, and influence stakeholders across engineering, product, and commercial teams to advance platform capabilities.

Qualifications

8+ years in technical product management or product ownership role for industrial B2B software, working with global and cross-functional teams, ideally in platform space.
Building new products, not only improving existing ones — taking a solution from concept to launch.
Defining and shipping AI or ML-powered products at enterprise scale.
Domain expertise in one or more of Octave's core verticals: EPC/EPCM, energy & utilities owner-operators, or public safety/infrastructure.
Shipped production AI to users — including the evaluation, quality, and safety work of putting a model in front of customers.
Use of AI tools and workflows for day-to-day technical product management tasks.
Technical depth to be a credible partner to engineering — agent frameworks, retrieval and knowledge graphs, model-agnostic architectures, evaluations, and how workflows are built from agents and agents from skills.
Can carry a technical narrative to customers and executives.

Responsibilities

Define and build net-new platform solutions end-to-end — requirements, acceptance criteria, backlog; domain knowledge and evaluations.
Build domain-specific solutions with product teams — platform craft and vertical packaging.
Coordinate templates, reference workflows, and shared practices for repeatable platform solutions.
Grow the library of agents, domain knowledge, and workflow patterns across the platform.
Make autonomy and safety calls for production-ready solutions in regulated environments.
Feed the platform roadmap by communicating requirements to capability PMs.
Support commercialization with pricing, packaging, and go-to-market.
Equip delivery with reference workflows and templates for onboarding customers.
