Wintermeyer Ventures is seeking an experienced backend-focused engineer to lead AI infrastructure initiatives from architecture through production, delivering reliable systems for enterprise customers.

You will design and build agent infrastructure (sandboxes, LLM gateways, routing, evaluations, memory, observability) and own projects end-to-end while mentoring a small engineering team. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of software engineering experience, with hands-on backend or full-stack development.
• Experience owning and shipping 0-to-1 initiatives at a startup or large technology company.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, including Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Professional or founder experience building with AI agents, LLMs, or agent infrastructure.
• Experience with agent architecture, including sandboxing, observability, evaluations, or benchmarking.
• At least one year leading or managing a small engineering team, while remaining active in technical work.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field.

Responsabilités

• Design and build agent infrastructure, including sandboxes, LLM gateways and routing, evaluations, memory, and observability.
• Build backend systems for enterprise deployments, including in regulated industries.
• Own projects end-to-end, from technical design and architecture decisions through production.
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and help grow the engineering team.
• Work directly with customers to resolve deployment challenges.
