Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Sr. Manager, Communications to lead storytelling for the teams that site, power, and build Crusoe's AI factories at scale. You’ll partner with Public Affairs and Government Affairs to protect and promote the brand while delivering high-impact narratives across DIG, Energy, and Real Estate.

You’ll craft strategies, write for diverse audiences, and drive a metrics-based program that demonstrates tangible outcomes in a fast-moving, AI-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in communications or public relations.
• AI-first mindset; uses AI tools in workflows.
• Experience in data center construction, energy, real estate, or AI industries.
• Proven media relations with top-tier outlets.
• Excellent writing with nuance and clarity.
• Ability to act with initiative in ambiguity.
• Collaborative across functions (DIG, Energy, Real Estate, Legal).
• Metrics-driven with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• News Engine: lead a strategic news program across data center development, energy, and real estate.
• Media relations: cultivate relationships with journalists, pitch and place stories independently.
• Community & stakeholder engagement: support local engagement and partnerships.
• Narrative development: translate technical topics into compelling stories for audiences.
• Thought leadership: develop op-eds, keynote scripts, and social content.
• Issues management: monitor landscape and respond strategically.
• Agency management: guide PR agency priorities and resource use.
• Measurement: own reporting on coverage and impact.
