Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role

Crusoe employees do their best work when they understand where we’re headed and why their work matters. This role makes that happen — keeping every employee, in manufacturing, on a construction site, or in an office, aligned, informed, and connected to our purpose and each other.

This role sits at the intersection of culture and comms strategy. When you do your job well, employees don't just understand the Crusoe story — they tell it with pride.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Comms strategy — brief, relevant, consistent, compelling; keeping pace with how people actually communicate

  • Comms architecture — how our employee portal, knowledge repository, and Slack channels work together (and enabling employees on how to use them)

  • Content creation — internal and social, in partnership with execs across the business

  • Content management — organized, accessible, up-to‑date

  • HR comms — clear, helpful messaging for major people initiatives

  • Change management — comms leadership when the org or the work shifts

  • Internal comms playbook — extending the team's reach so all leaders can communicate well

  • Speaker series — internal and external programming featuring Crusoe thought leaders

  • Physical space messaging — making sure our employer brand is expressed in our spaces

  • Employee feedback — easy‑to‑use mechanisms for hearing from the whole company

  • Surveys and metrics — measuring not just output but outcome; improving engagement scores on comms effectiveness

  • Annual leadership summit planning team — the ultimate opportunity for strategic alignment and communication of our high‑performance culture

What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Clear, brief, differentiated writing — full stop

  • The ability to make complex technical topics engaging and relevant

  • A genuine passion for how communications build culture

  • Expertise in change management

  • An eye for detail — you catch the typo and care about the look and feel

  • Fluency with Slack, Google Workspace, Confluence, and project management tools

  • Comfort using AI in your daily work — and genuine curiosity about where we can go with it

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Influence across the business, confident collaborating at every level
