Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino is seeking a Senior Infrastructure, SRE & AI Platforms Manager to shape the long-term technical strategy for global infrastructure platforms on the Services Special Projects team.

You will guide architecture across compute, storage, networking, observability, and AI workloads. You will lead a growing, distributed team, promote operational excellence and automation, and translate business needs into scalable platform designs while fostering a culture of ownership and

Qualifications

MS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
12+ years of progressive engineering leadership building global, mission-critical infrastructure.
Experience managing multi-layered engineering organizations (manager-of-managers) across global sites.
Hands-on and architectural mastery of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud operations.
Experience running AI/ML training/inference workloads and AI infrastructure.
Strong SRE background with telemetry, observability, incident management.

Responsibilities

Define long-term technical vision and capital investments for global compute, storage, network.
Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of engineers across levels.
Establish standards for SRE, reliability, and post-incident analysis.
Oversee hybrid and multi-cloud compute and data/storage platforms.
Drive automation, ownership, and cost-efficient platform design.
