Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior SDET to join Release Integration Testing for AI Inference Core. You will design scalable test automation and validate AI inference systems across frameworks, runtimes, and hardware, driving reliability and faster releases.

You will own complex testing initiatives, mentor peers, and collaborate across teams to improve coverage, observability, and release quality.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with professional experience in software development, testing, or test infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages with production-quality code experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and frameworks for complex systems.
• Strong debugging skills to investigate failures across components and analyze logs.
• Understanding of testing methodologies: integration, system, regression, end-to-end.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation infrastructure.
• Knowledge of operating systems, networking, distributed systems, or systems-level software.
• Ability to own complex problems and drive testing resolutions independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure.
• Own integration testing and qualification for complex inference-core features.
• Develop end-to-end, integration, regression, and system tests across components.
• Analyze results, identify gaps, and provide evidence-based release recommendations.
• Investigate cross-stack failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Improve stability by triaging failures and contributing to quality metrics.
• Build internal tooling for test automation, diagnostics, dashboards, and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to improve coverage and rollout plans.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and debugging sessions.
