Job summary

Cerebras Systems builds the world’s largest AI chip and delivers unmatched training/inference speeds. We seek a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to innovate tests across thousands of nodes, drive automation, and ensure 99.999% reliability of our AI infrastructure.

You will design test strategies for large-scale distributed ML systems, work with Kubernetes/Prometheus/Grafana, and help break complex problems into testable components while expanding automation across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (CSE, Electrical, AI, Data Science) or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in testing enterprise software, distributed systems, or datacenter hardware/software.
• Experience in large enterprise or cloud networking infrastructure, high-speed switches/routers/firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and execute tests on cutting-edge AI infrastructure and define optimized test strategies.
• Adapt to rapid pace of Cerebras and ML community, bringing expertise to the team.
• Break large distributed systems challenges into smaller, unit-testable components.
• Pursue an automation-first approach to achieve high availability, performance, and security.
• Champion cluster security and reliability for uptime and observability.
• Test cluster software including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Evaluate hardware components like wafer-scale accelerators and interconnects.
• Qualify networking solutions with high-speed switches, routers, and optics.
• Assess OS security, network security, cloud compliance, and access controls.
