Job summary

Wonderlic seeks a Senior Research Scientist at the intersection of I-O psychology and machine learning. You will own the jobs engine, ingest labor market data, and produce scalable, defensible job analyses across thousands of roles.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, and I-O psychologists to translate science into AI-powered systems, ensuring alignment with legal and professional standards. You will drive rigorous evaluation and expand AI across the platform.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in I-O Psychology or closely related field.
• Demonstrated ML engineering experience with shipped systems.
• Experience applying NLP to behavioral or labor market data.
• Track record of technically sound and defensible work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continued development of Wonderlic's Jobs Engine and models.
• Advise on AI implementation across product teams and organization.
• Ensure scientific rigor with adverse impact and norm-group considerations.
• Deliver measurable improvements in job analysis coverage and defensibility.
