Job summary

WEKA is seeking a Senior Professional Solutions Architect in the United States to lead enterprise-class AI/HPC deployments and onboarding. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams while guiding customers through architecture, implementation, and optimization of WEKA environments.

You will work with customers worldwide, delivering on-prem or public cloud solutions and driving automation and rapid, scalable deployments. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including documentation.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations within Enterprise environments, focusing on mission-critical infrastructure.
• Experience with automation tools/cluster management such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Jenkins, or xcat.
• Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience with Source Code Control Systems like GitHub and git.
• Experience with Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, particularly 100+Gb networks.
• Experience with performance monitoring/tuning Linux systems.
• Experience with HPC environments, including management tools.
• Experience with Parallel Filesystems (Lustre, GPFS/SpectrumScale, DDN).
• Familiar with SDS (Software-Defined Storage).
• Hands-on administration/operation knowledge of Kubernetes / Containerized Workloads.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for technical presentations and trusted advisor to customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the experience from the sale to full deployment and onboarding.
• Manages the project of installing the WEKA product, including risk assessment and scheduling.
• Documentation of solution details, diagrams and specifications for end-to-end solutions.
• Utilizes open-source technologies to address project use cases.
• Uses coding or scripting to implement custom workflows.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to scope effective infrastructure solutions.
• Performs incremental testing to streamline deployments and reduce errors.
• Deploying and managing AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for customers.
