Job summary

IREN is seeking an Operations Sr. Manager to oversee the operational relationship with our AI hardware OEMs and strategic suppliers, translating sourcing strategy and demand into executable production commitments and reliable hardware supply for global data center deployments.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, deep knowledge of GPUs, servers, networking hardware, and risk management, with extensive experience in high-growth technology environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience with technology OEMs/hardware.
• Experience procuring GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage, or data center hardware.
• Experience managing OEM supplier relationships, forecasts, POs, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Experience identifying and mitigating supply continuity risks and demand volatility.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts and sourcing strategies into supplier commitments and supply plans.
• Partner with planning to identify supply gaps and secure capacity or expedited production.
• Support CTB readiness by ensuring components and capacity meet ship dates.
• Elevate supply risks including shortages, capacity constraints, and allocations.
• Develop supplier mitigation plans including alternate sourcing and inventory positioning.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with Logistics and Data Center Operations.
• Establish supplier performance metrics and governance with regular reviews.
• Support regional procurement across EMEA and APAC and consider local constraints.
• Continuously improve procurement processes and systems for rapid expansion.
