Job summary

IREN seeks an Operations Sr. Manager to lead the operational relationship with AI hardware OEMs and strategic suppliers, turning sourcing strategy into executable production commitments and reliable hardware supply for global data center deployments.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement or supply chain, deep experience with tech hardware, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Travel is frequent; base salary ranges in USD with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or materials management with tech OEMs/hardware experience.
• Experience procuring GPUs, servers, networking gear, storage, or data center equipment.
• Experience managing OEM supplier relationships (forecasts, POs, capacity, allocations, lead times, pricing).
• Experience identifying supply risks (constraints, single-source, demand volatility).
• Strong analytical skills to translate forecasts and supply data into commitments.
• Cross-functional collaboration across geo-distributed supply chains (EMEA/APAC preferred).
• Ability to influence suppliers and internal partners without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts and sourcing strategies into supplier commitments and executable supply plans.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations and Integrated Planning to close supply gaps and secure capacity.
• Support CTB readiness by ensuring required components and capacity to meet ship dates.
• Elevate supply risks and implement mitigation plans (alternate sourcing, expediting, inventory moves).
• Coordinate with Logistics and Data Center Ops to align delivery with site deployments.
• Establish supplier performance metrics, weekly reviews, risk assessments, and escalation processes.
• Support regional procurement execution across EMEA and APAC, considering local capabilities and logistics.
• Continuously improve procurement processes, systems, reporting, and supplier governance.
