Job summary

Harman International in Novi, MI is seeking an AI Governance & Risk Analyst (P4) to serve as a senior contributor supporting the governance framework for safe, compliant, and scalable AI adoption across the enterprise.

You will manage risk workflows, data quality, and governance artifacts, partnering with AI product teams, security, legal, and compliance to ensure timely reviews, documentation, and evidence for audits and regulatory inquiries while enabling responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, Compliance, Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of governance experience.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, operational controls, risk assessment processes, audit readiness, and documentation management.
• Experience managing workflows, data quality processes, reporting, and operational controls in a regulated or governance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer risk-tiering workflows to ensure AI use cases are assessed and routed through governance and review processes.
• Manage intake processes and maintain high quality governance and risk data for AI initiatives, applications, and platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain governance dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and reporting that provide visibility into portfolio risk, compliance status, and operational effectiveness.
• Support audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries by maintaining accurate records and providing governance evidence as required.
• Partner with business, security, legal, and compliance stakeholders to improve governance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
