Job summary

Lazard is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to design and build a centralized AI control platform that enables transparent, well‑controlled use of AI across the firm. You will own the vision, architecture, and roadmap, aligning with governance, regulatory, and model risk expectations.

The role requires 10+ years in technology platform leadership, governance of AI/ML, and hands‑on experience with data platforms and MLOps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology platform leadership, risk technology, or enterprise controls, including senior leadership roles.
• Experience building platforms that operationalize governance, controls, or risk frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations related to model risk management, explainability, and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, architecture, and roadmap for the firm’s AI control framework platform.
• Translate control objectives into practical, reusable platform capabilities.
• Ensure the platform supports the full AI lifecycle from intake to retirement.
• Partner with Model Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Privacy, and Audit to align with regulatory needs.
