Principal Financial Group is seeking a Senior AI Governance Analyst to lead the operationalization and maturation of the AI risk assessment process within the ERAI Governance program. You will partner with Risk, Privacy, Compliance, IT, Data Science, and business teams to ensure AI use across the organization is properly assessed, inventoried, monitored, and governed.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional experience in risk management, data governance, privacy, compliance, or related disciplines, with 3+ years focused on AI governance or AI oversight activities.
• Experience leading transformational change initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills across executive leadership to individual contributors.

Aufgaben

• Lead the AI risk assessment process design and maturation, including scoring criteria, workflows, controls, and monitoring.
• Oversee the AI governance operating model, ensuring timely completion and scalable processes.
• Partner with Risk, Privacy, Compliance, IT, AI Enablement, Data Science, Data Governance, and business teams to resolve AI risk concerns and enable responsible AI deployment.
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and insights on risk exposure, mitigation effectiveness, and governance outcomes.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, and guidance for enterprise-wide adoption of AI risk processes.
• Manage the Principal AI Policy and Standards and measure governance maturity across the enterprise.
• Adhere to security policies to safeguard system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
