Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Audit, Compliance, or Risk function within financial services.
• Experience supporting AI governance and oversight activities, with understanding of responsible AI principles and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and build a function or team from the ground up.
• Proven track record leading large-scale control, testing, risk, or operating model transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with leadership, risk, and audit stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEAR in enterprise AI and Copilot governance forums and working groups.
• Translate enterprise AI strategy and risk expectations into practical requirements for stakeholders.
• Assess design and effectiveness of risk and control environment to support Client Operations Services.
• Identify and prioritize responsible AI opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Manage AI opportunity pipeline from ideation to benefits measurement and scale.
• Coordinate risk assessments, approvals, documentation, and readiness activities for AI solutions.
• Lead governance routines, including agendas, minutes, and reporting.
• Monitor adherence measures, control performance indicators, and remediation progress.
• Support control monitoring and testing by evaluating results and recommending enhancements.
• Identify procedural improvements and automation opportunities across Legal Order Operations processes.
