Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Houston is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms – Shared Infrastructure Solutions / Supply Chain team.

You will design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment and lead technical decisions across multiple domains. You will drive AI-assisted development practices, contribute to architecture, and ensure secure, reliable delivery of software in a large corporate setting.

Qualifications

• AI fundamentals and practical understanding of AI concepts in software development.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, virtualization, APIs, data models and modern language frameworks.
• Experience coding in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and query languages.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools and establishing validation for AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions and design, develop, and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run with supporting systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring constraints are met.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and reliability.
• Utilize SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to enhance value.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to support continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contribute to communities of practice and share emerging technologies.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
