Job summary

You will collaborate with product, engineering and data science to translate advanced AI into real customer experiences, publish in top venues, and shape Capital One's long-term research agenda. This IC role emphasizes external leadership and academic collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with extensive applied AI/ML research experience.
• Experience collaborating with academia and industry partners.
• Strong publication record in top AI/ML conferences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Leverage PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, HuggingFace, Lightning, etc. to analyzing large datasets.
• Build AI foundation models from design to deployment.
• Engage in high-impact applied research to push AI into customer experiences.
• Translate complex work into concrete business goals.
• Define and evolve Capital One's long-term AI research agenda.
