Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with extensive applied research experience.
• Minimum years of experience as stated in the ad (6+ years with PhD or 8+ years with MS).
• Proven track record in building and deploying AI foundation models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
• Lead high-impact applied research and translate findings into customer-facing capabilities.
• Mentor a team of applied scientists and managers without direct people leadership.
• Represent Capital One in AI research communities and with academia.
