Job summary

Tulip Interfaces, a hybrid, high-growth SaaS company, seeks an experienced engineering leader to own delivery for a critical surface area. You will guide architectural choices, mentor engineers, and drive AI-enabled product development across multi-cloud environments.

You will shape testing, observability, and development practices while fostering an AI-first culture and hiring top talent to sustain velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SaaS software engineering with backend infra work.
• 3+ years in people management leading a software team.
• Hands-on cross-functional leadership with product and customer delivery.
• Strong testing and deployment in multicloud/multitenant setups.
• Experience architecting systems with agentic and generative AI.
• Familiar with TS, React, Redux, Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, Postgres, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery scope for your team's surface area with scoping and sequencing.
• Collaborate with tech leads to set direction and guide architecture.
• Maintain operational health: on-call, incident response, tech debt reduction.
• Foster an AI-first development culture, improving velocity and quality.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a high-autonomy team with strong output.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, observability, and AI practices.
