Pfizer is rebuilding itself as an AI-native organization with enterprise AI platforms in the hands of 80,000 colleagues, and is hiring a Senior Manager, AI Experience Designer to shape how those platforms look, sound and behave. The role owns pattern areas of Pfizer's AI-first design system, shipped as code into the build pipeline so the compliant pattern is what every team gets by default.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of UX experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years.
• 6-10 years of progressive UX design experience delivering high-impact digital products.
• Fluent with front-end development principles, design tokens and APIs to ship components.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs or agent frameworks.
• Experience shipping design system components into production pipelines.
• Experience designing conversational UX (chat and/or voice).
• Experience designing agentic AI workflows with human-in-the-loop controls.
• Accessibility and WCAG 2.1 AA experience.

Responsibilities

• Own pattern areas of Pfizer's AI-first design system as products with adoption targets.
• Ship design tokens, components and patterns into the engineering build pipeline and MCP.
• Maintain the reference library behind automated design quality checks.
• Monitor pattern usage and override requests, retire or redesign patterns as needed.
• Build with LLM APIs and agent frameworks to prototype agent behavior in code.
• Lead the design of agentic AI experiences with human-in-the-loop controls.
• Document assistant behaviors: tone, voice, transparency cues.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance across all designs.
• Create reusable playbooks and pattern libraries for agentic workflows.
• Train and mentor designers and cross-functional partners on rapid prototyping and AI tools.
