Amentum is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of AI/ML tooling across mission systems. You will build LLM orchestration frameworks, optimize data pipelines for large-scale AI workloads, and implement robust databases to support RAG-enabled analysis and auditing.

The role requires strong Python, LLM integration, and data engineering skills, plus experience with static analyzers and secure deployment practices in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, LLM integration and data engineering.
• Experience with static analyzers, RAG framework, and relational/vector databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and common ALM tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LLM orchestration frameworks coordinating analyzers, RAG systems, and tests.
• Develop data preprocessing pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and vectorize docs and code.
• Design and implement databases to support RAG architectures, artifact storage, and audit trails.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to deploy AI tools in secure enclaves and optimize performance.
• Support security assessments and authority to operate (ATO) processes.
