Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to deliver hands-on, senior-level development for secure AI-enabled applications serving U.S. government clients.

You will build and tune LLM, RAG, and agentic workflows, lead adversarial testing, and act as escalation support for production AI issues. You will design and implement AI security tests, enforce DEV-to-PROD controls, and support MLOps tasks including retraining and release documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, AI-enabled apps, data/cloud engineering or software engineering
• 1+ year in Generative AI, LLM integration, RAG, or production AI systems
• Strong Python proficiency and experience building AI-enabled apps and APIs
• Experience deploying RAG pipelines, vector databases, cloud-based AI services, and AI workflow orchestration
• Experience with adversarial testing and mitigations
• FedRAMP environments and NIST SP 800-53 awareness
• UI design for accessibility (Section 508 / WCAG 2.1) and release ops
• Certifications in Generative AI/ML (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA) with evidence
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; Washington DC area on-site; ability to obtain NACI

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy AI-enabled apps and services (LLM, RAG, embeddings)
• Lead AI security and adversarial testing before releases and document mitigations
• Enforce DEV to PROD promotion controls including security scans and TEVV
• Support MLOps: model versioning, drift detection, retraining, release docs
• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for production AI issues and incident analysis
• Contribute to RAG pipeline designs, AI test plans, SBOMs, and environment baselines
• Mentor developers and ensure architecture standards are followed
