CACI International Inc in Washington, DC seeks an AI Engineer to design, develop, test, and support AI-enabled applications and agent-based solutions to support the US Secret Service contract under DHS.

You will work across the software development lifecycle, translating mission needs into secure, reliable capabilities that integrate AI models with enterprise data and workflows, using LangChain and Microsoft Agent Framework, plus cloud AI services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus extensive experience in AI/ML software engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in software engineering, AI/ML, or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML apps that integrate models with data, apps, or workflows.
• Experience with LangChain, Microsoft Agent Framework, or similar frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain AI-enabled applications and services.
• Implement AI and agent workflows using LangChain, Microsoft Agent Framework, or other suitable frameworks.
• Develop RAG capabilities, including data ingestion, retrieval, grounding, and integration with enterprise information sources.
• Integrate AI models with APIs, enterprise applications, and business workflows, including appropriate tool use and human review.
• Collaborate with product owners, users, and functional specialists to translate needs into designs, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain application components, APIs, and services using Python and established software engineering practices.
• Create and execute automated tests and evaluations to assess accuracy, relevance, grounding, safety, and performance.
• Troubleshoot application and model behavior; use telemetry and feedback to improve quality.
• Support deployment and operations, including CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, incident resolution, and maintenance.
• Apply security and privacy requirements, including identity controls and data protection.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and software engineering teams to integrate solutions into the enterprise environment.
