Job summary

CACI International is actively seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI capabilities for federal oversight missions, including OIGChat and data-driven investigations. You will shape AI solutions across Azure Government and commercial environments with emphasis on governance and security.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical AI applications, ensure explainability, and drive production readiness while maintaining robust data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 15 years of experience in AI/ML or related field; equivalents allowed.
• Extensive hands-on experience building AI/ML apps with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Production experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, or AWS/GG platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance OIG Chat and pilot AI applications.
• Implement AI guardrails, safety controls, and logging for secure outputs.
• Build AI/ML pipelines using governed datasets and data platform.
• Develop AI-assisted analysis for data like hotline records and case data.
• Implement model versioning, monitoring, and automated validation.
• Support pilot AI apps for eDiscovery, translation, transcription, analytics.
• Prototype and test on limited datasets with validation methods.
• Follow secure coding practices for AI and data protection.
• Provide prompts guidance and user adoption training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate AI in Agile delivery.
