Job summary

U.S. Venture’s Breakthrough division is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain full‑stack software integrated with AI/ML capabilities.

You’ll work with a cross-disciplinary team to ship agentic AI features across products and platforms, applying cutting‑edge techniques to real-world freight domains. The role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture, and collaboration with product managers, designers, and domain experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years as a software or data engineer.
• 2+ years experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, LangChain/Graph, Anthropic, GPT, Gemini, Llama, Vertex, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Apache Beam, dbt, and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of application architectures, security best practices, and data integration concepts.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Airflow.
• Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Understanding of distributed data management systems and related applications.
• Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure design, tools, and strategies.
• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generative AI and Machine Learning Development: Implement and integrate generative AI models and ML algorithms into software solutions.
• Full Stack Development: Write clean, efficient code for AI-powered applications across frontend and backend.
• Architectural Design: Collaborate on AI-enabled features and participate in architectural discussions for AI integration.
• Technical Excellence: Learn new AI/ML techniques, optimize pipelines, and write robust tests.
• Innovation: Stay updated on AI advancements and propose AI-driven business solutions.
• Collaboration: Work with senior engineers to refine AI/ML development processes and mentor juniors.
