Job summary

Sensata Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to build and deploy production AI solutions for our commercial teams.

You will design end-to-end models, services, and pipelines, partnering with data science, product, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions. You will own robust training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows, while improving latency, cost efficiency, and explainability.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering delivering production applications.
• 2+ years building AI, ML, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong Python/SQL/APIs skills and cloud tech experience.
• Experience with enterprise platforms like Salesforce/CRM and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production models, services, and pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Partner with data science, product, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
• Improve production performance across latency, cost, reliability and explainability.
• Create reusable infrastructure, tooling, libraries, and patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Monitor deployed models for performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead enterprise AI application development from concept through production deployment.
• Integrate AI into commercial systems such as Salesforce, CRM, ERP, pricing, and quoting.
