Atlas Tech seeks a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and operationalize advanced AI/ML solutions that address mission, operational, and business challenges. This role blends deep technical expertise with practical, hands-on engineering to deploy AI-enabled applications into production systems, collaborating with product, engineering, and domain teams to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
• Experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
• Strong Python and ML library proficiency (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML tools for generative AI use cases.
• Develop end-to-end ML pipelines including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Implement production-grade inference systems and APIs.
• Lead experiments, define hypotheses, evaluate models, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to build robust, secure AI architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards.
• Ensure responsible AI practices, governance, and explainability.
