Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a senior AI Engineer to design scalable LLM and NLP solutions for high-volume customer interactions. You will drive architecture, best practices and innovation across voice AI systems.

Responsibilities include architecting AI-driven IVR, building NLP models, and deploying LLM workflows while mentoring offshore and junior AI engineers. You will collaborate with IVR, speech engineering and product teams to deliver robust voice solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of AI/ML experience.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Experience with NLP text classification.
• SQL data analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs.
• Familiar with evaluation frameworks.
• Knowledge of RAG workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI-driven IVR and conversational systems.
• Build NLP models for intent detection and call routing.
• Perform data analysis using SQL.
• Design and deploy LLM workflows (prompting, RAG, evaluation).
• Lead development of agentic AI workflows for multi-step interactions.
• Establish LLMops best practices, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Partner with IVR platform, speech engineering and product teams.
• Mentor offshore and junior AI engineers.
