Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer – Applied AI in Irvine, CA to design, build, and operationalize real-world AI solutions.

The role focuses on LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, and intelligent agents, with full-stack AI workflows from prototype to production. You will translate business needs into scalable AI systems, integrate models in cloud environments, and collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver user-centric AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years AI/ML solution development.
• Production-ready AI systems experience with LLM-based apps and RAG pipelines.
• Multi-agent orchestration patterns and agent frameworks knowledge.
• Strong Python proficiency with TensorFlow or PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Cloud AI platform experience (AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applied AI solutions, including LLM apps, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Develop full-stack AI applications with front-end interfaces and cloud integration.
• Build production-ready AI systems that integrate with enterprise platforms.
• Own experiments, PoCs/MVPs, refine prompts, and improve model performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet governance, privacy, and security standards.
