Job summary

MemeHouse LA, Inc. is seeking an AI Software Engineer in Beverly Hills for hands-on design, build, and deployment of AI-powered applications using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and modern software practices.

You will work across application and infrastructure stacks to translate business needs into trusted systems. You will own meaningful technical deliverables, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and help establish repeatable practices as the team grows, including code

Qualifications

Strong Python skills with experience building APIs, tests, and data integrations.
Hands-on LLM applications, embeddings, and RAG experience.
Backend basics: SQL, Linux, Docker, CI/CD and API authentication.
Security awareness and data privacy considerations.
Ownership, communication, and delivering usable results.

Responsibilities

Build AI applications with production-oriented LLM features and APIs.
Deploy private models on private or customer-controlled infrastructure.
Connect business data from documents, CRMs, databases, and apps.
Engineer reliable retrieval with ingestion, indexing, embedding, and citations.
Evaluate quality with tests for latency, cost, and reliability.
Operate deployment pipelines, observability, versioning, and rollback.
Protect sensitive information with least-privilege access and secrets management.
Improve engineering through code reviews and architectural decision docs.
Mentor additional engineers as the team grows.
