Job summary

CCI International Inc. is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to architect and guide AI capabilities across DHS OIG enterprise, from OIGChat to analytics apps, within secure government cloud environments.

You will lead engineering and data science teams, define AI patterns, governance, and cost controls, and ensure responsible AI practices across all implementations for national security oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years in AI/ML or related field; equivalencies considered (Master's +12; 21 years with no degree).
• Proven leadership in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions with cross-functional coordination.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Azure AI services, governance, and production ML operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for all AI capabilities (OIGChat, analytics apps, platform services).
• Oversee secure, governed access to AI models (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, other providers).
• Lead design and deployment of mission-specific AI applications from concept to production.
• Establish model governance, cost management, and responsible AI frameworks with monitoring and guardrails.
• Coordinate AI workload planning across infrastructure, data, and applications.
• Support auditing, explainability, bias detection, and compliance with federal AI requirements.
