Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a highly autonomous AI/ML Architect to design and deliver AI solutions for financial use cases. You will lead technical architecture for traditional and generative AI models, integrate AWS services, and ensure governance and auditability across the stack.

You will collaborate with risk, compliance, and business units to shape AI strategy, develop pipelines, and enable intelligent systems. Strong leadership and cloud-native delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Python, data science, ML, generative AI and agentic AI techniques.
• Experience architecting solutions in an AWS environment and building data/model pipelines.
• Ability to design secure, scalable AI architectures with CI/CD and observability.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, engineer, and implement ML/AI solutions for finance use cases.
• Lead projects and mentor engineers across architecture, deployment, and governance.
• Develop data/model pipelines, APIs, and integration layers; implement MLOps practices.
• Establish deployment standards, cost controls, and observability for production systems.
• Support model performance, retraining, testing, and production operations.
