Job summary

Aiclo, a conversation intelligence startup, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, ship to production, and continuously improve our AI pipeline. You will work closely with our CTO and founders, building reliable, measurable AI systems rather than simply writing prompts.

This role covers multi-tier model orchestration, memory design, data linkage across meetings, emails, and contacts, plus privacy-by-design considerations. Fully remote with flexible hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as AI/ML Engineer or software engineer working on LLM-based systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with major model provider SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Hands-on with structured extraction, classification, and agent orchestration pipelines.
• Experience with evals, metrics, and test datasets; not driven by gut feeling.
• Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and retrieval/vector databases.
• Ability to evaluate frameworks and tools for simple, scalable solutions.
• Attention to inference costs and scalability; fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Structured behavior extraction: design pipelines for neutral, timestamped moments across conversations.
• Multi-tier model architecture: orchestrate fast classifiers and larger models for reasoning.
• Evaluation and quality: define datasets and systematic evals for production decisions.
• Data model and memory: link meetings, emails, and contacts to deals with governance rules.
• Agents and automations: build Bots and retroactive To Dos with workflows.
• Knowledge and retrieval: integrate customer playbooks and materials for context when valuable.
• Integrations: contribute to CRM integrations and external assistants via MCP.
• Privacy by design: plan cross-organization learning with GDPR and confidentiality.
