Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior hands-on engineer to lead forward-deployed AI programs inside health plans, PBMs, and payer operations. You will own end-to-end delivery, from architecture through adoption, and collaborate with executives to shape ROI-backed roadmaps.

The role requires extensive experience with cloud-native systems, AI platforms, and payer workflows, including data interoperability and PHI safeguards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years hands-on engineering experience with cloud-native systems and AI platforms.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on coding in Python or Java.
• Minimum 8 years in production deployment — CI/CD and IaC (Terraform/Helm).
• Minimum 3 years delivering AI programs inside payer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead forward-deployed pods and AI programs end-to-end within health plans and payer operations.
• Define problems, outcomes, and success metrics for AI initiatives.
• Architect and govern AI programs across multi-system payer environments.
