Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions. You will lead the AI engineering team and establish scalable capabilities, standards, and governance.

You will work hands-on initially, then mentor engineers, align with risk/compliance, and drive measurable adoption across banking use cases with a focus on security, privacy, and performance.

Qualifications

• Broad experience leading AI/ML initiatives from strategy to production delivery.
• Strong hands-on background in Python, API design, microservices, cloud patterns, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI and Generative AI applications for banking use cases.
• Architect LLM-enabled solutions across retrieval-augmented generation and tool calling.
• Lead engineering practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, and governance.
