Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Architect with deep AI expertise to lead enterprise architecture for AI capabilities. You will define future-state architectures, guide technology decisions, and drive scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in solution/enterprise architecture and hands-on experience with Generative AI, ML, and intelligent automation, with cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
• Experience leading large-scale AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or Intelligent Automation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI architectures.
• Machine Learning lifecycle management.
• AI governance and responsible AI practices.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and API-driven architectures.
• Strong data architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms, and integration patterns.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and defining target-state technology strategies.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex technical concepts to executives.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Create the overall architectural vision and strategy for AI initiatives across enterprise platforms.
• Lead architecture for GenAI, agentic workflows, intelligent copilots, and predictive analytics.
• Develop designs, blueprints, and reference patterns to drive reuse across the enterprise.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, models, and vendors for architecture fit.
• Drive architecture governance, reviews, and alignment with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the lifecycle from ideation to production deployment.
